How to know when to invest in your business
I spend the majority of my time focused on my clients. That’s how it should be. But I only spend time working IN my business, rather than ON my business, I can’t allocate the time and resources needed to help my business thrive. And if I don’t change that, it will mean that my business won’t grow because I’m not taking time out to reflect on what’s working and build from there. It will mean that I spend unnecessary time and effort because I haven’t built up systems and processes to automate and streamline everyday essential tasks. And it will mean that I’m not able to fully deliver what I do best because I am still trying to do everything myself.
Are you nodding along at this point? Maybe you never have enough time to plan. Or activities that once worked well are just not showing the same results. If this rings true for you, it’s time to invest.

Because if you’re serious about your business, you will need to spend money on it. And an investment in your business, is an investment in your brand. Especially if you’re experiencing the issues I mentioned, because it means you’ve grown beyond the things you can get for free/cheap or do yourself.
It’s not about price. It’s about the value it will add to your business versus the cost of not doing it.
